St Bartholomews

Newark Road Kneesall Nottingham

St Bartholomew's Church is a practical building. The nave was converted in 2001 into the Village Hall with a kitchen and toilets and plenty of space for community events.

The chancel remains consecrated for worship. Nave and chancel are separated by glass doors which can be opened to make use of the whole space.

The church dates from the 14th century and was restored three times in the 19th century. The last restoration, in that century, was by Charles Hodgson Fowler.
